Literacy hour

Thank you to all the moms who volunteered their afternoon to participate in our literacy hour.

The children love so much when we can have these days.

Gross motor- Bieber Fever

This just makes me laugh!!! During our in class gym time the children did some dancing to JUST DANCE. This is their favorite song to dance to. Enjoy!

Wonderful Worms

What fun we have had exploring worms!!!

This book is a "non-fiction" story that gave us so many facts about worms.

When the children WONDERED something about those worms, where did we look? In the book of course!!
Then we wrote out some facts that we learned about.

We learned how worms live and we created a worm aquarium.

These are our worms!!! We have learned how worms live.

Curriculum Connections

• demonstrate understanding and critical awareness of a variety of written materials that are read by and with the EL–K team
• communicate in writing, using strategies that are appropriate for beginners
• demonstrate an understanding of the natural world and the need to care for and respect the environment

Outside sharing

Here is a moment outside of our children playing so cooperatively.
They planned this out and made the rules do it was fun and fair.

We only have one of those big bouncy balls, if you have anything similar you could donate to our outdoor play space, it would be greatly appreciated.

We are looking for things like:
Child size out door chairs
Child size picnic table
Balls
Bubbles
Chalk
Shovels and pails
Trucks and cars
Anything used and outdoor fun would be so appreciated.
