Let the Children Play: 2015

Come, they told us...

This was an exciting day, we travelled to a far off land to see the baby Jesus. The children packed their bags, brought toys and even a bin of food, and they started their long walk to Bethlehem.
Enjoy this video, I wish I had recorded more, like the hallway full of travelers, and the kids waiting at the side door to "really" go for a walk.

Christmas Carolers

Tis' the season for the grade 5's and the 1/2's to share with us their beautiful songs. The grade 5's came to do french songs and a small skit. The children where able recognize what they were singing!

The 1/2's came by to share their rendition of the 12 days of Christmas. Our JK/SK's were an excellent audience.

Cookies

COOKIES!

It took 2 days to accomplish but we baked 24 cookies, one for everyone. Each child had the chance to roll out the dough, sprinkle the flour and pick their favourite cookie cutter and make their shape.

Then we all got to put icing and sprinkles on the cookies. Some children chose to dive in and eat their cookies, and others chose to bring theirs home.

Thursday evening something very exciting happened!!!

Breakfast with Santa

What a beautiful morning filled with family and friends!!! Breakfast with Santa was a hit, we are so proud of the children for a fabulous performance.

We hope you enjoyed the fun picture the children worked on, all dressed in Christmas lights.
