Why you ask? To take "Elfie's"
It goes along with our new book Memoirs of an Elf. The children are also very excited about their own elves who have come to visit. If you have one I can borrow for a day, I'd appreciate it.
Also, we are looking for a few craft supplies.
The children are interested in wrapping for Christmas. We thought they would like scraps of wrapping paper, bows, ribbon, bags, tags, tape, gift bags. Just recycled from your home. Not new please, as the kids will use it all up anyways.
Santa's workshop is a fun place to be right now.
Also, we are looking for some fun mess items. We want to make snow and ice and coloured ice.
We need corn starch, food colouring, shaving cream, salt, flour, kool aid packages. Any of those items would be great for our sensory/science provocations! If you can donate just one of those items, it would be greatly appreciated.
We've been very busy preparing for Christmas. We will soon return to regular blogging ;)
FYI we are strongly encouraging the children to not bring any toys, Pokemon cards, stuffies or babies to school unless it is our designated show and tell day. There are to many mishaps happening with the children's precious belongings.
The side door that we use for morning arrival will only be opened at 8:40am, with the time directive coming from the office. There is no one available for inside supervision until this time. After 8:55am, the children are required to sign in at the office, the side door will be closed as instructional time will commence in all 4 classrooms.
