Dino wash

A Dino wash? Yes!!! By listening to the children we able to set up inquiry based on their interests, which in turn makes it meaningful learning to the child.
This play began with a simple statement.
"Look Mrs.L I got this dinosaur wet." So we asked "should we set up a wash station for all the dinosaurs?"
"It's a bath. They need to brush their teeth too."
"I'm scrubbing him."
"Look, I can clean his teeth,"
They shared the sponges, and clothes, they took turns pumping the hand soap for each other and they took turns around the sensory table.
This was also a great lesson on self care and caring for others, like a baby.
"I used a lot of soap. Look at all the bubbles."
