Today's moments

Looks like a rectangle to you?
You are so wrong...this is a full sized NHL hockey rink with goaltender net!
"I" skating up in his slippery skate socks and shooting the puck
"J" is about to take the best toe slapshot ever!
These are the 3 designers of the Lego Ice Rink (shape recognition, connection to personal experiences, friendship building, sharing...curriculum)
Need a felt board? Lets make one! "M" is the designer and builder of this felt board so he could retell his story of Christmas. (using materials in different ways, retell stories...curriculum)
"A" was so excited to create this gingerman. Then she realized there was smaller gingerman in the art supplies and she made the mom and three baby gingerbreads that are attached to each other. (small, medium, large, sorting...curriculum)
"S" is trying patterning. He is peeling and sticking Christmas stickers to create repeating patterns. Just like our outside patterns in nature...winter, spring, summer, fall, winter, spring, summer, fall... ( repeating patterns, fine motor...Curriculum)
"G" is telling the story of Jesus' birth.  She is familiar with the story by reading the story together at our gathering time. We also listened to a new piece of music, Hallelujah by Cloverton, his words retell the story and the instruments set a mood. (retell, religion, music...curriculum)
"P"is also working on a pattern. She is able to tell me her alternating pattern.
"P" is also able to identify patterns in the environment around her. (routine pattern, oral retell...curriculum)

So, as we give you a peek at the inside, what your children are experiencing everyday, we want you to see the benefit of our program. We want to point out some of the curriculum goals that your child has succeeded at or is attempting. That there is concrete evidence of learning, social development with peers, and building confidence and trust in their beginning years of school. These years will further support their love for learning and experimenting.
